Time To Do Something Different

For anyone who has made decision that they will be successful in home business, they will also need to accept change. With an online business’s existence being 100% dependent on the market which it serves, once the market changes, the business must also change to remain relevant to the market. Thus, if we fail to anticipate change, and adapt to it quickly, we will not succeed in home business.

I am convinced that each and every one of you have encountered at least one individual who has attempted to fight back against the computer age. This individual has outright refused to learn how to send an e-mail, much less turn a computer on. If you have not encountered such an individual, try looking at the legal industry. There are several old school lawyers who have to record what they want their e-mail to say into a microphone, and have their secretary type and send the e-mail. I am not sure how a person could allow themselves to become so handicapped.

Unlike the lawyer resistant to change, you as a home business owner cannot pretend as though technological advancements do not exist. If you do so, someone else will take this technology, offer a better product or service to the niche market which you both share, and take steps to make your market share, their market share. Thus, if you are someone who at times faces challenges when change comes about, you should analyze the following.

1. Of course I do not advise this, but your first option is to maintain the status quo of your home business, and reject change. Just note that such behavior is rooted in a fear of change, and an even deeper feeling of being incompetent in a new setting. People sometimes avoid change because it requires that they attain a new ability which they are afraid they will not perfect. Unfortunately, if you choose this first option, your home business will fail very quickly.

2. Your second option for dealing with change is to ease into it. This is a hit or miss solution for the home business owner who is resistant to change. Often times this sort of individual resists change tooth and nail until one day realizing that change may actually bring about some of the benefits they desired all along. Once they see that there is something in it for them, it becomes really easy to adapt.

3. The third possibility is the avenue which is usually taken by the paranoid and anxiety ridden individual. I am sure that you know one of them. These are the people who are constantly making a big deal out of nothing, and become unusually nervous whenever confronted with something new. They concoct every possible hypothetical in their minds, and seem to never come up with a solution. Such a method does not work when dealing with the changes which confront home business owners. I would recommend that these individuals become tax accountants. No offense to any tax accountant out there, as I value your services.

4. The final, and most desirable possibility is taking the approach which recognizes that change is a part of life, as well as home business. These individuals realize that when we fail to change, we fail to evolve. According to Darwinism, those who fail to evolve become extinct. Those who recognize this fact are ideal for home business. Not only do these people welcome change, they often generate change. They realize that change is the catalyst to positive activity, and lifts us upwards. Such people are quick to make the necessary adaptations to market shifts, and suffer the least from inevitabilities, such as a recession. These are the individuals who are most fit to survive in home business.

Mastering The Compelling Sales Copy

how not to write sales copy Time To Do Something DifferentWith a strong sales letter, your home business is well on its way to becoming the cash cow which you envision it to be. The truth is that a great sales letter usually entails many of the persuasive characteristics of its writer. Keep in mind that the perfection of a sales letter is all art and zero science. Therefore, it can be developed and improved upon over time. Below we will discuss some of the fundamentals of writing a compelling sales letter.

1. Take control of your reader’s thoughts with your headline

Writing a strong sales letter involves putting the reader on alert from the earliest instance. As such, the headline should pull the reader in and compel them to keep reading. They key is to not give too much away, but rather give the reader just enough to spark their curiosity.

2. Your opening paragraphs must leave nothing to be desired.

It is important to keep building the reader’s suspense levels throughout the body of the sales copy, especially early on. It is important that you keep the reader highly interested until you are able to make your offer.

3. Your offer must be so good that they cannot resist.

The focus in any home business should on the customer. You have to show them all that they have to gain by taking advantage of your offer. This should be to the point that it would be foolish for them to turn their back on what your company is offering. It is also important to briefly explain why you are offering such a good deal. This will allow your customer to lower their guard, and not anticipate being set up for “the catch”.

4. Motivate the buyer with limited time offers.

You have to give people the motivation to take action now. One way to do this is to show them that the price will increase at a certain time, such as midnight tonight. If they fail to act, they will not receive the discounted price.

5. Motivate your buyers to take action to making limiting the quantity.

You can do this by explaining to the buyer that only a certain number of products remain. You may have seen this technique used on the Home Shopping Network. They will actually show you the starting quantity, and count down until they are sold out. They are doing this to motivate their viewers to pick up the phone and order.

While there is nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to these sales copy techniques, you are essentially compelling the customer to become anxious and take action. The more sales letters that you write, the stronger your skills will become. This is great news for your home business as you will master the technique of presenting the buyer with an offer that they cannot refuse.

A major factor in the ultimate prosperity of your Home Business depends on your sales letter writing skills. Any of those who Work From Home need to implement the strategies which have been outlined by this article.
